I hate to break it to you, but I see the orginal colour everywhere. The colours are really close to solid, but not quite there. If you want take a look at my newest Deviation, Gizmo Fine, and you'll probably see what I mean.

Or... right. In the anime Fullmetal Alchemist, the two Elric brothers Edward and Alphonse tried to bring back their deceased mother using alchemy. Human transmutations are forbidden, but they did it anyway. In the process, the older brother Ed lost his right arm and left leg, and the younger brother Alphonse lost his entire body. Edward bound Alphonse's soul to a nearby suit of armor so he wouldn't be lost, and that's why Al looks the way he does. As to be expected, they weren't successful in bringing their mother back. The anime basically follows them as they look for the Philosopher's Stone, which has the ability to enhance their alchemy, so that they may return their bodies to the way they were.
